Interior Design Program

Graduates are prepared to work in entry-level residential design and sales positions in retail stores and design studios, and commercial design positions in office dealerships and corporate facilities.

Interior Design Program graduates have experience with manual drafting as well as AutoCAD and 2020 Kitchen and Bath Design software. Graduates are able to space plan both residential interiors and commercial office interiors, and specify and arrange furnishings and accessories. They are able to specify and estimate interior design finishes and materials and prepare presentation boards. All graduates have had coursework in lighting and the history of art, architecture, and interiors, as well as having completed a required internship.
