Tabitha Crase

Graphic Design & Illustration

Hi, I’m Tabitha! I am an insightful visionary who is diligent, passionate, and well-versed in graphic design and illustration. My path as a graphic design major was driven by my love for all things creative at a young age, and is something I continue to pursue and evolve. I aim to produce professional quality work and constantly demonstrate diligence and receptiveness with any project, whether I work alone, collaboratively with other designers, or as team leader.

Visionaries

As creative director for Madison College’s 2023 spring student portfolio show, I had the opportunity to lead the branding revolving around my concepted theme, “Visionaries.” My goal was to represent all graduating students’ programs with a contemporary, expressive, and insightful visual style that vividly illustrates the qualities of creative individuals. The view of a desk paired with colorful strokes and shapes represents the perspective of a visionary - someone who sees potential in the world and brings ideas to reality.

The Bruce Company - Children’s Garden Kit

The Bruce Company landscape services and garden center provide everything customers need to help their plants thrive – it only makes sense a children’s garden kit would be the perfect fit to introduce gardening as a fun, discovery filled experience to help young minds thrive as well. Included in the kit, recipients can find starter gardening necessities, wearable buttons, and a booklet that uses playful imagery, a handmade collaged style and interactive elements sprinkled throughout the pages that excite and intrigue young minds.

Dunkin’ - Booklet

Busy individuals make their way to Dunkin’ for a friendly, welcoming environment and a great cup of coffee that’s clean, delicious, and fast. I encompassed this feeling in a booklet by creating illustrations with rhythmic and fluid compositions. Deep, rich colors paired with dynamic textures mimic the sensory experience of enjoying fresh coffee and donuts.

Habitat for Humanity - Website

Habitat for Humanity builds and rehabilitates safe, affordable homes for families in need with the help of hardworking volunteers. I showcased their efforts to strengthen and uplift others with the main theme, “build.” They not only physically construct homes; they build community, self-reliance, strength, and so much more. My design mirrors this strength with photography pieces that form a house, and strong rectangular motifs that resemble blocks. In contrast, delicate lines, soft photography treatments, and friendly typography show the audience this organization is also warming and welcoming.

Bubble Yum - Explainer Video

I took inspiration from Bubble Yum’s popular duck mascot and created a video portraying the same punk, bold, and humorous tone from their iconic packaging. In this explainer video featuring loud colors, distressed typography, and halftone imagery, viewers learn the best way to be a total punk rockstar and look cool is by chewing bubble gum.

We are focused, creative, and insightful. Our eyes see invisible potential. From the tiniest seed of an idea, we look through the lens of possibility and create new realities. We are visionaries.
